Zoran Radonjic, Vice President of the Executive Board

Zoran Radonjić, Vice President of the Executive Board of Vojvodjanska banka, was born on 8 November 1962 in Sombor, Serbia. Mr Radonjić graduated from the Faculty of Economics, Subotica (Serbia) – Department of International Economy in Novi Sad, with the average grade 9.94. He defended his graduate thesis, The European Monetary System, Mechanisms and Functioning in 1986 receiving the highest grade. Mr Radonjić completed his postgraduate studies at the University of Belgrade, Faculty of Economics, Department of International Economy, with the maximum grade. At the same university in 1993 he completed the specialized postgraduate studies, at the department of Money and Capital Markets, with the average grade of 10, thus receiving the degree of the Money and Capital Market Specialist. Mr Radonjić is currently preparing his master’s thesis on international economy and finance.

Mr Radonjić began his career in Vojvodjanska banka on 15 July 1991 as an Associate in Solvency Evaluation and Financial Consolidation in the Economic Centre. A year later he became an Associate for purchase and sale of foreign currency in International Relations Sector. In 1994 he became Assistant Director of the sector and from September 1996 to July 1998 he held the position of the Acting Director of International Relations. Mr. Radonjić was appointed as the Head of International Payment Department in July 1998 and as the Director of International Payments in June 2000.

During his career, Mr Radonjić held the position of the Director of Payment Operations in Bank Austria AG, Representative Office Belgrade, and in October 2001 he was appointed as the Director of Payment Operations (domestic and international payments, L/C operations, guarantees, Treasury Back Office, correspondent banking) in HVB Bank Yugoslavia a.d. Belgrade. On 18 May 2004 he became the General Manager of Vojvodjanska banka a.d. Novi Sad.

User Group (since 1998); the Association of Banks and Other Financial Institutions in Serbia, International Operations Board (since 2002), Payment Transactions Advancement Board (since 2002) and Managing Board (since 2004); as well as the memberships in Vojvodina Chamber of Commerce - in Managing Board (since 2004) and Banking and Insurance Board (since 2005).

Mr Radonjić is proficient in English. He is married with one child.
