Visa Electron

Visa Electron card is issued to residents in the Republic of Serbia, who own an ID and a current account with Vojvodjanska banka. Visa Electron is issued with current account number.

The card can be used:

• as identification card for payments with cheques
• for payments in the country and abroad at points of sale with POS terminals and Visa ELECTRON label
• for cash withdrawal in the country and abroad
  

To use the card abroad, a foreign currency account has to be opened with Vojvodjanska banka. The account is kept in EUR. The amount available for usage abroad is equal to the balance of the foreign currency account.

The current account is debited for all payments in the country, whereas the foreign currency account is debited for all transactions made abroad.

The cardholder can use the card only if she/he has sufficient liabilities on her/his accounts, in the moment of card usage.

The cardholder is entitled to grant additional cards to authorized persons.The number of additional cards is not limited.

The card issued for the period of 5 years. Upon the expiry of the validity period, the card is re-issued.

Visa Electron card is issued free of charge.
